WHAT IS RESTORATIVE TATTOOING?

Restorative tattooing is any tattoo work — traditional, cosmetic, or medical — done with the goal of supporting your well-being.

While "cosmetic tattooing" and "medical tattooing" are the more familiar terms, restorative tattooing reflects a person-centered philosophy: you — not your doctors, and certainly not your insurance company — are the driver of your own health.

Tattooing has marked human bodies for thousands of years — joy, sorrow, identity, story. Restorative tattooing continues that tradition with intention: helping you fill in the blanks of your own story.

Sessions are relaxed and centered on your comfort. My practice helps people feel more at home in their bodies, whatever that means for you. Every session is collaborative and trauma-informed — your voice shapes the process at every step.
